Asia travel does not have pilots

Asia deals with a severe scarcity of trained pilots as the region's need for flight skyrockets, Airbus's president told CNBC. "We believe that we will need near 200,000 pilots for the area, whereas there are just 65,000 today, in the next 20 years," Fabrice Bregier, president and CEO of the European plane maker, stated on Tuesday. To fulfill that requirement, Airbus and Singapore Airlines released a training center in Singapore today, equipped with 8 full-flight simulators and 6 cockpit training gadgets, and with the capacity to teach more than 10,000 trainees a year.
